A personal health coach can seem like a luxury but, if you are serious about living a healthier life and ready to make lifestyle changes a Health Coach can mean the difference between backsliding and lasting results. 

What does a Health Coach actually do?

As a Health Coach I act as a supportive mentor and wellness authority who helps others feel their best through lifestyle changes that meet their individual health goals.  My coaching isn't about one diet or one way of living.  I recognize the individuality and unique dietary, lifestyle, emotional and physical needs of my clients.   There are areas of your life that impact your short and long term health just as much as the food you eat such as: relationships, career, spirituality, physical activity your environment.   

How do you know if you could benefit from a health coach? 

Whether you are embarking on a total lifestyle overhaul or simply want to tweak what you are already doing, working together will increase your chances of success. Here are some signs that you might benefit from the help of a health coach: 

1.  You don't feel as healthy as you would like.  I can help you with a fresh perspective on your personal health and well-being.  As a health coach, I can help you make sustainable adjustments that will have a positive impact on your health. 

2.  You can't stick to your health goals.   Whether you know what you should be doing or not  I will help you better structure your life to help meet your health goals.  Through guidance and regular check-ins, you'll feel more accountable and supported in your journey. 

3.  You have tried every diet and are tired of regaining the weight.  I can help you get off the 'hamster wheel' of dieting, weight gain and dieting again.  There is a better and healthier way and I can lead you there. 

4.  You need someone on your side.  If you have ever surfed the internet of answers to health questions and ended up more confused than ever, then  I can help you sort fact from fiction and create a wellness plan that is just right for you. 

To take this one step further, I specialize in working with women in  perimenopause and menopause.  This can be a confusing time and our health needs are much different than those of our younger counter parts.  What worked for us in the past, will not work now.  Fact and opinion seem to become interchangeable on the internet.  If you are ready to not just survive but thrive in what could be some of the best years of your life, then I would love to work with you.
